STC fabrication is the collected knowledge and experience of too many years touring in the circus industry. Until recently all of these props have been made on the side of roads, back of trucks, and various car parks and boggy fields around the world. I began welding back together broken seating banks and big top structures, helping the bosses out by repairing their old showman lorries, and gradually started making props for performance. Over the years I have made or attempted most of the equipment we use in modern circus shows, and am always open to new and unusual custom pieces. These days, if I'm not on a show, I am based near Great Yarmouth in the UK, where I have a small metal workshop, and space to create and rig up new structures. As a performer myself with over 14 years experience on the stage, mostly in flying trapeze, I understand the reliability that is needed from your props and the toll that is asked of them each and every day.
